Please check if you need a Turkish visa to enter the country or not. You may simply get your e-visa online by visiting the official visa web-site: www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ or you may also get your visas in Istanbul upon your arrival. However, we strongly recommend you to get your e-visa online, 7 days prior to your trip and save time at Istanbul airport. Make sure your e-visa starts 2-3 days before your original arrival date.
If you get your e-visa online;
-After you disembark, please follow the signs for PASSPORT CONTROL and BAGGAGE CLAIM.
-As soon as you clear the Passport Control, you will be in the baggage claim area.
-Please check the big screens in the center to find out the baggage carousel number of your flight.
-We will meet you right by the baggage belt of your flight. We usually identify duffle bags or bags with certain stickers (outfitter, booking agent or travel agency tags). Therefore please put name tags on all your bags.
-After we claim all bags and rifle, we store your rifle and ammo at the airport together with you. We will do all paperwork for you.
If your plane has a delay, do not worry. We will be waiting for you right by the baggage carousel of your flight.
IMPORTANT!
- Please keep in mind that you will need to have a customs form (such as US 4457 form) or any other document that has your name and gun details.
- If you are coming back from a hunt and if you have your trophies with you, please make sure you contact us 14 days before your trip as we will need to check with the current trophy storage/importation regulation.
- It does not happen a lot, but if your flight schedule has changed for any reason and if you have an unexpected layover in Istanbul, please do not pick up your rifle and leave the baggage claim area. Leaving the baggage claim area with the firearms is against the law. Please give us a call right away.
